In honor of Kitty’s birthday The Swan at Nashville Social Club offers and evening with the very soulful voice of Tyrone Wells. His sound balances acoustic honest vulnerability and pop rock irresistibility. Wells’ songs have been featured in television shows (Intervention, Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, Rescue Me, One Tree Hill, North Shore, What About Brian, Numb3rs, The Mountain, Windfall, Wildfire, Ghost Whisperer, As the World Turns, The Bedford Diaries, Three Moons Over Milford, Meet the Barkers, The Vampire Diaries) and film (Everyone’s Hero, My Sister’s Keeper, Rails & Ties). While attending Hope International University in Southern California Tyrone joined the band Skypark. In 2000 Tyrone launched his solo career, playing regular acoustic shows in Orange County, California, where he and a small movement of folk, pop and urban folk artists including Mike Barnet, Danny Vasquez and Jaycob Van Auken formed a loose coalition called True American Records. In 2006 Tyrone signed a recording contract with Universal Records. They also re-released his album Hold On in 2007. Tyrone is touring with Brendan James who will open his show.
