BEGINNERS NIGHT!
Tim will start with a social mixer dance at the beginning of the evening, then a line dance, then a partner dance, and he’ll mix in plenty of time for open dancing between lessons.
6:00 pm: open dancing
6:30 pm: first lesson, a social mixer
7:00 pm: more open dancing
7:30 pm: line dance lesson
8:00 pm: more open dancing
8:30 pm: couples dance lesson
Times can vary depending on how long lessons take.
We are so excited to bring Wednesday Honkytonks to the Nashville Social Club! Get out of the house midweek and go dancing. It’s a great way to keep your body and spirit healthy and in shape while learning something new and hanging out with a fun crowd!
Celebrated twenty year veteran instructor Tim Renner will provide easy to follow lessons in line and partner dances, and will DJ the night with great tunes! He teaches at Truckee Meadows Community College, UNR, Pure Country, Yaples Ballroom and runs a private studio from home with his wife Carolyn. Tim knows that dancing is all about having fun. His dance instruction focuses on solid dance fundamentals while slowly introducing style and technique.
